Jacqueline's fascination with color and design revealed
itself enough to send her to RISD (Rhode Island School of Design)
for finger-painting at age 4. This vision was nurtured during
childhood - her Father had been in the textile business and his
hobby, restoring classic cars, exposed her to beautiful highly
polished finishes and
colors and a myriad of fine antiquities, fashion and fabrics.
This interest was refined with years of art lessons. Her
thirst for beauty continued shaping her unique vision, consistent
yet evolved.
She graduated from the Moore College of Art in Philadelphia with a BFA
and BS. Her varied experiences left lasting
impressions, thus altering these visions. Eventually, a unique,
acquired sense of
taste was ingrained in her, enhanced by a sense of style and
creativity.
Jacqueline’s appreciation of the color spectrum led her into a
world of casting acrylic sculptures. These dazzling sculptures,
colored within, intensified by the sunlight shining through, were
often in mobile form, suspended outdoors. In retrospect, these
sculptures, as well as the outdoor furnishings she produces today,
evolved from her desire to decorate the outdoors. The beauty of
Nature is a perfect setting.

Jacqueline Bloom Bio

Since she moved to Florida her digital painting business evolved. She discovered a
custom digital printer that
prints with real artist’s paint! Painted designs are resistant
and durable lasting up to 20 years in the sun! She can either
hand-paint or digitally print any design or photograph on “Sunbrella”,
canvas or vinyl. She can even make weatherproof designs on
outdoor walls and buildings.
Jacqueline’s revolutionary new
awnings are decorated with designs (how about tropical basketweave?) instead of the solids and stripes of the past - umbrellas, cabanas, pool and hot tub covers, chaise lounge cushions, pillows, and pavilions of all sizes and shapes. Also available are outdoor tiles
or a swimming pool bottom to match! Cocktails under a boat bimini printed with a banana palm design?..plus new, creative
loggia ideas. In addition, Jacqueline has created and patented outdoor tassels and trim made of plastic lacing weather and waterproof. Fancier tassels are woven with plastic jewels and can coordinate with bejeweled & glittered designs on 'Sunbrella', adding unique poolside glamour.
Jacqueline’s passion is to adorn the mundane and create a more
pleasing and enjoyable outdoor experience. Her eye can envision
a more beautiful environment that people will appreciate and
remember. As the ‘new indoors’ moves out, BermudaPink’s Exterior
Designer and trend-setter Jacqueline Bloom shows a more casual
way to relax and enjoy life in style.
